the vast blue sky

I've been feeling weirdly vulnerable lately, like the whole world is in chaos and I just want to hide out for a while. and I've been thinking a lot about this beautiful Buddhist quote (and now you can, too.) "In the middle of the hardness is a fear, in the middle of the fear is a sadness, in the middle of the sadness is the vast blue sky". If any friends out there are reading, leave me a love note, would you?

I love you very much. You are a wonderful friend and mother and person. You make me laugh more than anyone else I have ever met! I’m sorry you’re having a hard time right now. Just remember, everything is temporary... And also just remember that you are VERY loved by very many people in this life.

You’re also quite good at pairing cool pics with your blog posts.

Love you, fiffle. See you soooon!

Hey sweet stuff. I just checked out your latest blog, and I want to tell you that you're the best wife and friend in the world. I can't wait to hang out with you at both the Christmas party and Rob's birthday. See you later!

Love ya Lady! I totally love the time we spend together and think that we should spend more! I truly believe that everything happens for a reason... I've come to learn to learn this though life. I love your Buddhist quote... it is quite beautiful. Keep smiling. Things will get better. They always do! You're awesome and you bring joy to peoples lives.

Hey! Got your note, and realized I hadn't been back to read your blog in a while...You rock! Totally! I think you're the bomb shit diggity, whatever that is exactly I don't know, but seriously though I love ya lots!! I wish we lived closer too. There are a lot of times when I wish I could ask you what you'd do if you were in my place, especially when it comes to parenting. I think you're doing a kick-ass job with those boys. They are so bright and beautiful, like their mommy. :o) And if you're still feeling blue, you need to listen to "I Like Giants" by Kimya Dawson. I've been listening to it since my most recent foot-in-mouth episode. It gives me some solace, 'cause I know she's right; I just need to wrap my head around it some more.

Okay? Okay.

Love you lots and lots! Hugs to you and your family!!!
