On Sunday I got a surprise early birthday present from Sherry's friend Lydia who I have met exactly once. She MADE me a beautiful pair of earrings like the ones I fell in love with and pointed out to her at a nearby shop. How nice is that? I cannot get enough of these babies and have worn them everyday since I got them! Thank you so much, Lydia!

When I was little my nana always made me a special meal of things I liked: plain yogurt with wheat germ, rye toast, apples and peanut butter. I loved it so much that she made it for me all the time and that's how it started to be called "the usual".
